一、葫芦花、叶、瓜的结构
1．花朵形状：萌芦花的造型和丝瓜的花采很相，双勾画法基本相同。
2．瓜叶形状：葫芦的叶子形状与丝瓜的叶相似，只是萌芦的叶子没有丝瓜叶尖长。先出叶子的形状，再勾叶脉。

3．瓜果形状；用线笔调中墨或浓墨勾出壶状葫芦，线条应简洁流畅。

二、花朵画法
芦花呈白色，以双勾为主，花脉色淡，花为黄色，也可用白粉直接画花。

三、瓜叶的画法
1．勾线填色法：勾出叶子的形状后，笔腹调汁绿，笔尖蘸少许浓墨，穿染叶片，注意要有深浅化，不得平涂。

2．没骨画法：用提笔，笔腹调汁绿加花青，水份要饱满。笔尖蘸少许墨，侧锋写出三五笔掌状叶子，意叶子浓淡、大小变化。

2．没骨画法：笔腹调黄色，笔尖加赭石、少许花青或石绿、墨淡，侧锋从左至右或上下用笔，留出高光，半干时用墨点画出果脐，注意葫芦造型不要大圆。

七、范图示例画法
1．《金秋》画法
步骤一、二、三
步骤一：先画出叶子，注意疏密、浓淡变化。
步骤二：用提笔调藤黄加赭石，笔尖蘸少许墨画黄葫芦；调淡绿，笔尖蘸少许屋墨绿画出绿葫芦，浓墨点出瓜蒂。
步聚三：用狼毫调有浓淡变化的墨绿色勾画藤蔓，运笔要有气势，有起伏变化。在叶的适当位置上添画出花朵。

2．《秋色含香》画法
步骤一、二、三
步骤一：用提笔蘸花青和赭石，笔尖加墨，由左至右画出叶子，注意浓淡变化。
步骤二：用笔腹调鹅黄、藤黄后笔尖加赭石少许墨画出葫芦的形状，注意留出高光。
步骤三：用大兰竹笔墨蘸画藤蔓，用笔要流，再找位置画上几朵芦花。
